Since 2017, Emily has been providing compassionate, person centered therapy and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in
both Arizona and Wyoming. She offers telehealth services to clients in both states and is registered with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health as a Clinical Supervisor, providing supervision to associate level clinicians in Arizona.
Emily specializes in supporting individuals navigating trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, major life transitions, grief, anxiety, and depression. With a deep passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as with first responders and veterans, she recognizes and honors the unique experiences, challenges, and stressors these populations often face. Emily is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can process their experiences.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, drawing on evidence-based modalities including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Self Compassion practices. Emily believes that healing is most effective when the mind and body are addressed together, acknowledging how emotional pain can manifest physically and vice versa.
Emily tailors each treatment plan to the individual, honoring their specific needs, goals, and experiences. She is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients are empowered to explore their challenges and build resilience. With warmth and authenticity, Emily fosters a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. Her goal is to help individuals reconnect with their strengths, process difficult experiences, and move toward a life aligned with their values.
