Emily, Founder and Clinical Director of Flourish Together Therapy, licensed therapist offering in-person therapy and counseling in Phoenix, Arizona and Telehealth in Arizona, Florida, and Pennsylvania, specializing in OCD, bipolar disorder, and POTS.

Emily Hines, MA, LPC

Emily is not currently accepting new therapy clients. However, she offers a free 15-minute “Match Me” video consultation to personally understand what you’re looking for and thoughtfully connect you with the right therapist on our team.

During this brief conversation, you’ll have the opportunity to share what’s bringing you in, ask questions, and get guidance on which clinician would be the best fit for your needs, personality, and goals. Rather than navigating profiles alone, you’ll start with a real person who knows the team well and can help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

If you’re unsure where to begin, this is a simple, supportive first step.

Emily is the Founder and Clinical Director of Flourish Together Therapy. She is licensed to provide therapy in Arizona, Florida, and Pennsylvania, offering in-person services in Phoenix, AZ, and teletherapy across all three states.

In addition to her clinical work, Emily provides supervision for Arizona associate clinicians and co-created a 40-hour supervisory training program. She offers ongoing consultation and professional development for therapists within the practice, and regularly facilitates workshops, trainings, and grief- and crisis-support services for other teams throughout the Valley.

Emily specializes in working with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), serious and persistent mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder I & II, attachment wounds, relationship challenges, and trauma. She has extensive experience supporting individuals who tend to intellectualize their emotions, offering an approach that meets curiosity with depth, nuance, and insight. Emily is also passionate about working with individuals navigating chronic illness, particularly autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto’s and Sjögren’s, as well as complex medical presentations including POTS, MCAS, and EDS.

Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SE), Emily thoughtfully integrates these modalities to support deep reprocessing and healing. In her work with couples, she draws on Gottman Method Levels I & II. She takes a collaborative, engaged approach to therapy -actively partnering with clients to foster insight, build practical tools, and support meaningful, lasting change. Her therapeutic style is integrative, informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Humanistic Therapy, Jungian Psychotherapy, and Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic traditions.

“I truly care about what my patients are experiencing. It’s important to address the emotional heaviness that a mental health diagnosis, chronic illness, trauma, attachment, or grief can bring with someone you trust to help guide you through healing.” – Emily
