Ammon is a Licensed Associate Counselor and EMDR-trained therapist.

Life is an adventure, and sometimes we need someone to walk beside us through both the challenges and joys along the way. I feel honored to support individuals who are navigating difficult seasons; helping them grow through life’s challenges and move toward becoming the person they want to be.

I have experience working with grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and a variety of other life transitions and emotional challenges. I understand that healing is rarely a straight path, and I value creating a space where you can show up authentically, feel supported, and move forward at your own pace.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and other evidence-based approaches to help support meaningful growth and healing. While tools and techniques are valuable, I believe the heart of therapy is a genuine, trusting relationship where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.

I take a holistic view of mental health, recognizing that emotional wellbeing is deeply connected to physical health, relationships, life experiences, beliefs, and the many parts of who you are. Together, we can explore patterns, build insight, strengthen resilience, and create lasting change aligned with your values and goals.

My passion for this work is also personal. Like many people, I have faced my own life challenges and understand the courage it takes to grow, heal, and become more fully yourself. It is a privilege to walk alongside others in that process with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Although I was not born in Arizona, it is the only home I remember and have always considered Arizona home. I enjoy exploring the beauty and richness of Arizona, spending time in nature, and connecting with family and friends. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
