Hi, I’m Lizzi Coldiron, MSW, LCSW.
I’m a therapist grounded in curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for your story. I believe it’s a profound honor to walk alongside someone in their healing - to witness the tenderness, resilience, and transformation that can unfold when we feel safe enough to be seen.
My intention is to create a space that feels warm, attuned, and non-judgmental — a space where all parts of you are welcome, including the ones that may feel lost, stuck, or unsure.
My approach is relational, creative, and trauma-informed. I primarily draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), and integrate additional modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based practices, and family systems theory.
I work with each client in a collaborative way, adjusting the work to meet you exactly where you are. Clients often describe me as grounded, warm, and intuitive. I bring authenticity and deep presence into the room - and when appropriate, a grounded sense of humor - to create connection and lightness even in difficult moments.
My passion for this work is deeply personal. I’ve walked my own healing path - especially in the areas of trauma, identity, and women’s health - and I know how disorienting, messy, and meaningful that journey can be. That lived experience allows me to sit with others not just as a clinician, but as a fellow human who understands the courage it takes to face what’s inside.
As a mother, I also bring a lived understanding of the profound emotional, physical, and spiritual shifts that come with parenting. I hold space for the invisible labor, identity transformation, and inner complexity that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and the ongoing experience of parenthood.
I support adults and older teens navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity shifts, relational challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I have a strong foundation in working with generational dynamics, caregiving roles, and the quiet longing for deeper connection - with self and others.
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Seattle University. I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of settings - including hospitals, schools, crisis lines, community mental health, and private practice - all of which have shaped the breadth and depth of my clinical lens.
Originally from the lush landscapes of Washington State and now living in the Arizona desert, I find deep wisdom in nature’s rhythms. For those who resonate with it, I often incorporate a nature-informed lens and somatic grounding practices into the work. I believe healing, like nature, is cyclical - unfolding in stillness and motion, in moments of clarity and seasons of not knowing.
Therapy isn’t always easy, but it doesn’t have to be done alone. Whether you’re feeling stuck, seeking clarity, or simply longing for something different, I would be honored to walk alongside you with presence, skill, and care.
